No, they are not old dogs....but they are senior/hospice animals who needed a soft place to land.
We would like to introduce you to the Old Dog Farm Crew!
These Old Livestock rescue animals live along side our resident farm animals to give them company and peace in their final time. We are over joyed to welcome all animals in need and watch our OLD family grow. These animals receive the same love and care as the Old Dogs.
All the medical and comfort they need until they pass on is paid for by Old Dogs Go To Helen. While they are with us they undergo any treatments, diagnosis work, surgeries, and more to meet their needs.
All donations go towards ALL the senior or hospice animals in our care
This sweet little lady came to the NHSPCA in terrible emaciated state and they got her back to health. However, it was discovered she had Cushings, and that on top of her age (over 20) and condition meant she needed a soft place to land, and we are so thrilled we get to be that for her!
This gorgeous Standardbred boy came to us from the NHSPCA. He has some hind end issues from being used as a cart horse and pacer. He is free now from ever working again and can spend his time grazing and being spoiled.
He is as sweet as they come and incredibly kind. We are so happy to welcome him to the farm and ensure he gets everything he needs.
Holly is a sweet 11 year old girl.
All the other old lady goats are happy to have you.

This almost 14 year old Maine Coon was surrendered to us today when his person could no longer care for him. He is extremely thin and very matted but we are going to fix him right up and get him healthy.
These two little girls were found under a shed. They have become very sweet barn kitties and love exploring the farm.
These 3 Senior hens seem to be happy with their new home and flock.
This girl is 10.5 years old, she cam with her 3 sheep friends from Nevins Farm MSPCA. She was looking for a nice retirement home and we are happy to have her.
She was left alone to starve in the woods. We are so happy she found her way to the sanctuary from some amazing people. She is young and shy but is coming around with the help of the other goats.
We are more then excited to be able to give these spunky little potbelly pigs a soft place to land. They have brought so much joy to everyone who meets them. They have also been so wonderful for our Old Pigs. They love to say hello to them and get them on their feet if only for a moment.
Gremie the male is so overweight and covered in scabs. His skin is peeling and red and inflamed. His feet and tusks are so overgrown. He has been living in total mud so our first order was a cool bath, some skin treatment and then a large bed of hay to rest in.
This gorgeous girl lost her whole flock to a coyote and was then wandering alone. She’s now got so many new friends and once she’s through with quarantine she’ll be free ranging with everyone else!
He is a 25 year old Percheron mix who needed a soft place to land with nothing expected of him. He will get all the TLC he deserves. We are over joyed to have him here and can't wait to learn more about him with time.
She’s pregnant and due in a month or so we think. She’s incredibly sweet and she will have her own area while she decompresses. We are happy to welcome her and her new family to the farm.
Pumba the pig has found his forever home with us after being loved and cared for at Nevins Farm ASPCA. We are grateful to be trusted with his forever.
