Prudence came to us in rough shape. Bald and starving and needing medical attention, we brought her back to life slowly! She was the most wonderful family dog for the year she was with us!
Elliot was a Yorkshire terrier mix who we adopted when he came into the shelter starved, bald and covered in fleas. He had suffered more than any dog ever should have. His transformation was truly magical to watch and we miss his little tail wag every day.

Rambler was a young pup, but came into the shelter with some serious medical issues. He couldn't walk well and wasn't eating, and it was determined he had a brain tumor. He was only with us a few days, but we gave him the best we could in his time with us. I think of him often.
Oliver was a heartbreaking shelter surrender at 16 years old. He came immediately home to us when we learned of his plight and spent on 48 hours with us before he passed on. He was such a wonderful spritely little soul.
Jupiter was one of the most medically complicated hospice adoptions we took in. His skin was a mess, his heart was in rough shape and he had terrible thyroid issues too. It took weekly baths, endless medicine and lots of care to get him back in to shape. He had the best few months with us and in the end his heart just gave out. we miss him everyday
Jackson was found as a stray with a sweater on him. He had a huge mass in his abdomen and was ematiacted. He came home with us for 4 days before he passed peacefully. We didn't want him spending his last few days in a shelter so we showered him with all the love we could.
Pico broke my heart. He was with us for a week before his heart gave out. He had a grade 5 murmur and all the love I had couldn't save him. I miss his little presence every day.
Loretta was one the greatest dogs we've ever met or cared for. She was a puppy raiser, a gentle soul, and followed us everywhere. She was with us for almost a year and sadly with her age and arthritis, she couldn't stay longer. She is missed dearly every day.
