Rocky- A Cavalier King Charles who is in heart failure and has a bad back end. He is over weight but he has been trying to get up and move more. He is a happy little teddy bear who loves tummy rubs.
We are happy to give him as many tummy rubs as he needs.
Ronnie is a pittie mix. He loves to be around people and we love to give him all the pets and snuggles we can. He still has a good amount of energy for his age and loves to go for walks and play with the other dogs. He has bad skin and need some TLC we are so happy he is here so we can spoil him.
Cookie loves to be your shadow. She is a gentle girl who came to a shelter in Mass. as a stray. She has scars and mammary tumors. You can tell in her sweet eyes she has some stories to tell.
She loves to play with her new best friend Brynn.
Bobo is an older guy who still likes to play despite his vision loss. He can still see our of one eye. He loves being around all of the other dogs and snuggling up with them.
Frankie is a quiet old guy who has been coming out of his shell slowly.
Frankie is really enjoying the company of the other oldies and he has started to show us he is ready for pets and butt scratches.

Cocoa is full of life! He is happy to sit on your lap and ready to let everyone know if the wind is blowing outside with his sweet but loud voice. We are so happy to have him to keep all the Oldies on their toes.
Hamish is an 11 year old collie, who has a lot of medical issues that we are taking care of right now. We can tell he is already feeling better due to his happy bouncy personal. He love the other dog s and all the attention he can get.
Caesar suffered a traumatic event when he was around a year old that caused the entire roof of his mouth to fall out. He has a mangled tongue because of it also. It’s thought it’s because he chewed on an electric cord, but we’ll never know. He was brought to the vet who came up with a care plan for him and he’s lived the last 9 years happy and healthy with soft food and nasal flushes and lots of s
Daffy is a sweet and cuddly girl, who was very shy when she came to us and is not thriving.
Brynn is only 5 years old and completely incontinent, but we don't mind. She is beyond sweet and gentle. She has such a playful personality and loves being around the old dogs. We are so happy to have this bouncy girl with us.
Nora is 9, and recently lost her amazing mom, one of her last wishes was to make sure Nora was well cared for and loved. We of course, said yes. Her mom passed shortly afterwards and Nora was by her side until the end.
Nora was born with two normal back legs but deformed front legs. She has one front leg that is about 3/4 the way developed and she can hop on briefly but she spends most of her time
Bella the Chihuahua is blind. She need a place to enjoy her golden days. Bella seems to be settling in with the other small, blind, old dogs.
Jolie and Bella are 11 year old sisters. They came to a shelter in horrible condition and are now doing much better. Jolie is blind and Bella will need a dental.
They are the sweetest lap dogs we have at the sanctuary right now. We are very happy they are here.
Cleo is a tiny spicy senior Chihuahua. She still has a little vision left, itchy skin, some lumps and bumps and a small heart murmur. She has been getting a lot of extra and we are happy to spoil her.
Thelma is a little 13 year old Sheltie who is blind. She has found her voice and will let you know how happy she is to hear your voice. She loves belly rubs and even like to be held. She is beyond sweet.
Winston is a senior chihuahua who is as cute as he is sassy!! This ball of fire is happy and doing amazing in his foster home.
