Breezewood is 5years old
He has bad arthritis in his knees and his left hip too, so we’ve started him on twice weekly Adequan injections and pain medicine too. We’re running a full panel of bloodwork to make sure everything else looks okay and have started his weight loss journey.
He is a goofball and the sweetest big guy you will ever meet.

Sadie is a ray of sunshine! She is 18 years old and is showing her age with a weak back end, but she is so gentle and always smiling. We love having her as one of the family.
This is Moose. He was just surrendered to us to avoid euthanasia. He was hit by a tractor and fractured his front right leg. The surgery he needs and recovery required was beyond his humans ability and we couldn’t let him die. He is 6 years old and deserves a chance.

Donnie is around 19 years old. He has a lot of arthritis and we have him on medication to make him comfortable. He is very sweet, but also like to be left alone in his old age.
Fig Newton was surrendered to us when his humans realized his issues were beyond their scope of abilities and attention and couldn’t find anyone to help. He is 4 months old and sweet as can be. X-rays show that his condition is not caused by IVDD, swimmers, or anything muscular. Gunner the 9 year old Yorkipoo is a spunky boy who loves to snuggle. She loves his new Old Dog family and we love that he is here.
Lucy is the sweetest bassett hound you will meet. She was surrendered to us and is an absolute love. She has made herself at home and has already made us fall in love with her. We are so happy this joyful girl is part of our family.
Lily is a 15 year old, this little JRT spitfire has a 5/6 heart murmur but that doesn’t stop her from being as cute and full of mischief as she can be. Our friends at Better Together Animal Rescue contacted us about her when she came in and we couldn’t have been happier to welcome her to the crew.
Buttercup is a sweet 11 year old labradoodle was surrendered to us today and we are honored to love her for however long she likes! She isn’t a fan of stairs and is deaf and losing her sight, but she’s just as sweet as can be!
Cody is an older guy who still has a lot of life and spunk to him. He loves meeting all the volunteers and causing some mischief trying to get the other oldies to play.
Delilah is a 12 year old quite and snuggly girl who's owner passed away. This little lady has fit right in with her new Old Dog family. We are happy to be able to give her a soft place to live out her golden days.
Margi is tiny but mighty, full of sass but incredibly sweet, likes to play but then wants to hide. She is a 10 year old Chihuahua with some behavior needs and we are more than happy to help her be her best self here at ODGTH. She’s settling in beautifully.
Ted is a 14 year old man who is such a snuggle bug. He has a sweet and gentle soul, we are so happy we get to love him.
Teddy is kind of a crabby old man, but he is in some pain as he will need surgery on his back leg. He will yell at you for attention and he enjoys head pats and laying by your feet.
Oreo is a 12 year old Boston terrier who is diabetic. He is very friendly, and will fall asleep next to you on the couch. He has the biggest and funniest personal. We love him.
Nora is 9, and recently lost her amazing mom, one of her last wishes was to make sure Nora was well cared for and loved. We of course, said yes. Her mom passed shortly afterwards and Nora was by her side until the end.
Nora was born with two normal back legs but deformed front legs. She has one front leg that is about 3/4 the way developed and she can hop on briefly but she spends most of her time
Thelma is a little 13 year old Sheltie who is blind. She has found her voice and will let you know how happy she is to hear your voice. She loves belly rubs and even like to be held. She is beyond sweet.
