Poppy is a 13 year old lady. She is blind and diabetic but so incredibly sweet.
She love to snuggle up with some of her new dog family members like Bella. She has a lot of courage and find she way around the Old Dogs space just fine.
Keke
She is very sweet and will climb right into your lap. She seems to love all the other dogs. Keke does have epilepsy and is on medication. We are so happy she is apart of the Old Dogs Family.
Jolly the chihuahua has an aggressive form of cancer. She is a quite and gentle girl. We may not have a lot of time with her but the time we do have we will make sure she is spoiled and comfortable.
Margi is tiny but mighty, full of sass but incredibly sweet, likes to play but then wants to hide. She is a 10 year old Chihuahua with some behavior needs and we are more than happy to help her be her best self here at ODGTH. She’s settling in beautifully.
Mr. Wilson is 14 years old. He is such a gentleman. He is the stoic type, calm and just happy to be seen. Mr. Wilson doesn't want all the fuss event though he knows he' s a cutie.
Ted is a 14 year old man who is such a snuggle bug. He has a sweet and gentle soul, we are so happy we get to love him.
Stella is 13 sweet girl who loves to snuggle. She is always very excited to see some one come through the door. She seems to like the other dog but also likes to keep to herself. We are more than happy to give her our laps and spoil her with love.
Hank is 14 year old man who's person has gone into hospice care. He has some vison loss and an eye infection that is being treated. He love to be right by your feet and event tries to play a little. he fills the room with joy and we are so happy he can live out his days with us.
Teddy is kind of a crabby old man, but he is in some pain as he will need surgery on his back leg. He will yell at you for attention and he enjoys head pats and laying by your feet.
Archie is the cutest poodle mix , he’s on the quieter side but he will try to play with the other dogs and he loves to snuggle on the couch with you. He has a few masses that we are keeping our eyes on. We are so happy we can spoil this gentle old man.
Cordelia & Victor are the welcome committee with their happy barks. They are both very sweet. Cordelia seems to have a back end, spin issue. She can get around fine but she likes to be held and carried more. Victor is not a snuggly but he will come ask for pet.
Oreo is a 12 year old Boston terrier who is diabetic. He is very friendly, and will fall asleep next to you on the couch. He has the biggest and funniest personal. We love him.
Kringle is a 13 year old yellow lab. He is the sweetest old man and we will be getting him checked this week ASAP to see what we can do about his mass. Hopefully it’s nothing invasive.
Rocky- A Cavalier King Charles who is in heart failure and has a bad back end. He is over weight but he has been trying to get up and move more. He is a happy little teddy bear who loves tummy rubs.
We are happy to give him as many tummy rubs as he needs.
Hamish is an 11 year old collie, who has a lot of medical issues that we are taking care of right now. We can tell he is already feeling better due to his happy bouncy personal. He love the other dog s and all the attention he can get.
Daffy is a sweet and cuddly girl, who was very shy when she came to us and is not thriving.
Nora is 9, and recently lost her amazing mom, one of her last wishes was to make sure Nora was well cared for and loved. We of course, said yes. Her mom passed shortly afterwards and Nora was by her side until the end.
Nora was born with two normal back legs but deformed front legs. She has one front leg that is about 3/4 the way developed and she can hop on briefly but she spends most of her time
Bella is an 11 year old lap dog, who came to a shelter in horrible condition and are now doing much better. Bella needed an emergency surgery to have all of her teeth removed before the infection killed her. While in 12 hours for the surgery we could tell she felt the best she has in years. She turned into a bouncy puppy. She loves to snuggle and she (tries) to run the show with all the other do
Thelma is a little 13 year old Sheltie who is blind. She has found her voice and will let you know how happy she is to hear your voice. She loves belly rubs and even like to be held. She is beyond sweet.
