Alba was a 13 year old large lab. This beautiful girl had a sweet and gentle personality. Unexpectedly she went down hill fast and her body was failing her. She passed peacefully with loved ones around her.
Fletch was blind and deaf, and stole our hearts from the beginning. He was a testament to how forgiving dogs are despite the cruelty they have faced. We feel beyond blessed that he was in our life. He is greatly missed.
Brady always had bright eyes and a happy smile. He tried to hide is pain but it became easy to see he was ready to cross over the rainbow bridge with a full belly of treats. Your light will shine down on us sweet boy.
Honor was a senior blind pug with trachea issues. We tried everything to help him feel comfortable, unfortunately his breathing became so labored we couldn't let him suffer. His large personality will be deeply missed.
Lewis was full of spunk until his body couldn't keep up. He wasn't with us long but he will be missed.
Brandy had so much personality. She couldn't use her back legs and struggled to get around. Even when the other dogs didn't know what to think of her, she tried her best everyday. She loved the outdoors and she loved to tell you what she was thinking!
Reggie was a 14 year old Rottweiler Lab mix. He had lumps and bumps and his legs were very weak. He was a slower then the others, but Reggie would never miss out on a pet or a snuggle even if it hurt to get up. Reggie was a big teddy bear and gave so much love to everyone. We miss him dearly.
Clark was a gentle soul who came to us as a stray. His eyes held stories we will never know. He made friends with all of the dogs and found happiness here. You could see it in his happy tail and his prance when he came to say hello to you. The days came when he could no longer be his happy self. His body was tired and was unable to get up. You can rest now our sweet boy.
Molly was full of pep and joy. She always made you feel so special. She had a smile on her face and little dancing feet. Her tiny body was riddled with cancer. Her favorite thing was jumping up in your lap but that began to hurt her. She brought light and love to so many of us. She is missed.
Marlie - 16 year old terrier mix spent her life in fear. She was treated cruelly and you could see the neglect she lived with for years. He kind soul shined through her sad eyes. Her nick name was Mars and we know she is shooting a crossed the universe above us free and still shining.
Axel was the sweetest boy and always happy. He lived his entire life in a crate. Only to be freed at 13 years old and by then so atrophied he couldn’t walk. He was almost euthanized at the shelter but showed how much he wanted to live. He loved everyone he meet and enjoyed everyday with us to the fullest.
Twinkle came to us with horrible teeth. This tiny sweety wasn't with us long but we hope that we helped her feel comfortable and loved before she crossed the rainbow bridge.
Jameson was a 15 year old pug mix with a terrible back end and needs to lose some weight. He couldn't get around fast but he would always try. He had a big personality and a big voice.
Joey was 15years old. He was a Surrender and joined our rickety old man club very fast. He loved the other dogs and was happy till the day his body said no more. Rest well sweet boy.
Fritzy was the sweetest senior doxen who found his voice and always wanted to let us know how happy he was.
Sweet Peaches was a major cruelty case that we brought in. She had made huge strides in her time with us. We hope she found comfort before her cancer took over.
Elliot couldn't have been more at peace when he passed. He had dug a large hole (his favorite thing to do!) He rested his tired body and waged his tail as he said goodbye.
Myrna was a 16 year old that was a transfer from a rescue down south. She had no jaw but tons of tail wags to give.
She spent her days sleeping and happy in her favorite spot. She will be deeply missed.
Mischievous Mary was one of a kind. She loved everyone she met and didn't think twice about shredding beds or blankets in plain sight. She had the biggest bellow bark and we miss her every day.
Bella was a 15 year old puggle who left us suddenly after 5 months. She had one of the nicest and most tolerant personalities and absolutely despised going out in the rain. We think about her every day.
Ben was 10 - 11 years old and in terrible shape when he got to us. We nursed him back to health and he had the most spectacular few months with us running and playing. We miss his big bark.
Gerald wasn't with us long, but he was with us enough for us to fall in love with him. We will never forget his friendly smile and tail wags.
Terrence was the sweetest little friend. We used to call him Prancer because of how he pranced around. We couldn't have loved him more.
Jackson was such a sweet boy. He LOVED his food almost as much as he loved his naps. He snored so loudly we could hear him across the house!
Kiki was a senior poodle in heart failure who needed a soft place to land. She was the sweetest and we called her our little "sheep"
Gus was the sweetest greeter to our old dog home. He loved kids and we miss him dearly
Lucille was only with us for 7 days, she had cancer and did not have long, but she had the happiest last days with us and we were so happy to have found her.
Peanut passed after 6 months with us in heart failure and a chronic cough, but in the time he was with us he was absolutely adored!
Pinky was a. 15 year old pit mix we only had for a couple of weeks. He was such a kind soul and absolutely loved his bed by the fire.
Paris was a hospice puppy that was paralyzed and had some deformities. She was only 5 months old and didn't have long enough on this earth, or with us. We set her free and hope one day she comes back healthy again to visit us.
Sophie made a special journey to be with us at ODGTH and we loved her for a few months before she passed from renal failure. we will miss her all the time
Lulu was with us for a week. Her mouth cancer was too much and we made the decision to help her pass on peacefully. She was such a special soul.
Bailey was the best lumps and bumps lady you could ever hope to meet. She came to us in rough shape but over the months blossomed. Her hind end gave out over time and we had to say goodbye. We miss seeing her poking her head out the window every day.
Angus had the biggest ears, but also the biggest heart. Losing him was really difficult because he had such a presence in our lives. We miss his bellows every day.
Mama was so special. We lost her suddenly to liver failure at 9 years old. We had only had her 6 months and hoped that would have been years. I cannot tell you how much we miss her.
