Bobo is an older guy who still likes to play despite his vision loss. He can still see our of one eye. He loves being around all of the other dogs and snuggling up with them.
Cookie loves to be your shadow. She is a gentle girl who came to a shelter in Mass. as a stray. She has scars and mammary tumors. You can tell in her sweet eyes she has some stories to tell.
She loves to play with her new best friend Brynn.
Frankie is a quiet old guy who has been coming out of his shell slowly.
Frankie is really enjoying the company of the other oldies and he has started to show us he is ready for pets and butt scratches.
We are very happy he is here!
Mollie is still settling in to all the changes, although she can be cranky is doing really well. She has started to come up to us and ask for slow pets. We are happy she is her and we will give her as much time as she need to feel comfortable and safe.
Chloe, is very sweet and very blind. She also will take a minute to get to know your voice and feel comfortable. She does know her name and gets a little excited and playful when you call her. She will end up climbing in your lap.
Abigail is a sweet 14 year old lady. She has a lot of energy and a lot to say. She loves going for walk with our volunteers. We have been seeing a few signs that her age maybe affecting her brain. We will continue to monitor she with our vet and give her the best care we can until she is ready to say goodbye.
Mistletoe- She doesn't make a peep and she’s absolutely minuscule but she has made a big impact on our hearts already. She has become fast friends with all the dogs. This old lady knows what she wants ( your lap) and she will follow you around until you pick her up. She is a doll, we love spoiling her but we are also spoiled to be able to have her in the ODGTH family.
Brynn is only 5 years old and completely incontinent, but we don't mind. She is beyond sweet and gentle. She has such a playful personality and loves being around the old dogs. We are so happy to have this bouncy girl with us.
Cleo is a tiny spicy senior Chihuahua. She still has a little vision left, itchy skin, some lumps and bumps and a small heart murmur. She has been getting a lot of extra and we are happy to spoil her.
Rex had lymphoma. His body was failing him. He didn’t want much for food but I made him scrambled eggs, we went on a short walk, he yelled at one of the barn cats, and looked up at me proudly, even with his face so puffy. I told him I was so happy I got to meet him, and I knew and saw what he was fighting against, and I’d help him let go.
