Lola was a 12 year old dachshund. She was happy to be snuggled up under a blanket with her sister Mia, who passed before her or with her new best friends Tinsel who also loved to be warn buried in the blankets. She had a very hard time getting around and loved to be carried outside. She had such a peaceful spirt and we will miss her dearly.
Miss Sasha was a doll. she had the kindest eye. She was 13 and in liver failure. At the end we could tell she was not feeling herself and in some pain. We will miss her very much and know that she is free to run with no pain now.
Jasper came to us thin and with ruptured eyes that needed removing- so we immediately got him surgery and started his recovery process. He gained weight, his skin started to look great, his eyes healing, but… we soon realized that cognitively he was struggling immensely.
He was loved dearly and will be missed.
Denny's favorite things were snuggling, tummy rubs and sleeping. He was so gentle, resilient and trusting. He arrived over a year ago, blind and thin.
He lived out his days happy and loved.
Rumi was a 14 year old Pomeranian. This fluffball had an exciting journey to get to us. He waited for weeks for his turn to take a flight with SWATT (Southwest animal transport team) and find a soft place to land. Rumi brought so much light and joy. We were lucky to know him. He will be missed by many.
Big Mama was a 13 year old bulldog. She loved to snuggle on the couch and even tried to play with her new dog family. She has left a large paw print on many hearts.
Lucille was going blind but she had settled in with her new dog family very fast. She loved to be around people and anytime you moved she would be right under your feet. She had a kind soul and we will miss her.
Buffy was a little mouse corgi mix in severe heart failure. Her favorite thing was jumping into your lap. She was happy until the end. We will miss this beam of light in the old dogs house and we hope she will visit us one day. Run free beautiful girl.
Greta was 14years old with one eye and an amazing happy personality. She absolutely LOVED her dog family. Greta had a young spirt but her body could not keep up. We will miss our loud mouth, dancing queen.
Lolita was a gentle soul. She had nerve damage and a bad hind end but she deserved to live the rest of her life in peace by the fireplace! She wasn't with us long but she left a very large pawprint on our hearts.
Bonnie and Clyde will always be together. Love never dies.
These siblings had a bond that could never be broken. They suffered incredible cruelty and neglect.
Their love outshined their past and they are leaving behind their paw prints on many peoples hearts. We will miss you both dearly.
Petey the Pug was the best pug you would have met. His happy go lucky personality shined so bright. He didn't just leave his mark on your heart, he left it on everything he could, even his new dog friends. We will miss the welcome committee but most of all we will miss his sweet and gentle soul.
Snickerdoodle was a 17 year old Yorkie, who was blind & deaf. He was very lost when his owner passed. Snickerdoodle had many medical issues we treated and tried everything to help him feel comfortable. We will miss this little cookie.
Candy Cane was a 15 year blind old Poodle. She has horrible teeth and other health problems. She loved to be held like a baby or sleeping by the fire. We didn't know her long but her gentle soul will stay in our hearts forever.
Tessie was a 13 year old Silky, who was fully blind and had a 2 out of 6 heart murmur. This little peanut loved to be held or snuggling in your lap. We will miss her dearly but we know she is with her mom in heaven now.
Wesley was 17 year old and has been with us for a year. This little guy is one of the strongest dogs in mind and body. He may not have looked like it but if you knew him you would feel the same. He is a special boy and has left his mark on may hearts. Run free our sweet Wesley you will forever be missed.
Moxie was a 13 year old mini poodle who was surrendered to us after her owner passed. She loved following us everywhere. Moxie passed from heart failure.
Lamb chop was a 13 years old girl who had a rough life. She came to us with bad skin and horrible eyes. We removed her eyes and she became a puppy again. She brought so much joy to this world, she will be greatly missed by many.
Rosie was with us for over a year. She was the leader of the pack, and she knew it. From getting the first treat to welcoming new dogs and letting them know who was boss, in her own gentle way. Rosie had a huge impact on our hearts. Run free our sweet runaway Rosie.
Coffee was an old sweet lady who loved to smile, she was dealing with many medical issues. She had a gentle and goofy personality. We are so glad and honored to have had her in our lives.
